Support
Support
If something is broken, if a purchase did not unlock, or if a catalogue entry is wrong, this is where it gets fixed. There is no form to fill in: you write to an address and a person answers.
Email us · privacy@retroloot.appHow to ask for help
Write to privacy@retroloot.app. It is the same inbox for support and for data-protection requests.
Three things let us answer on the first reply: the email address you signed up with, whether you are writing about the app or the website (and which phone, if it is the app), and what you expected to happen. A screenshot beats a description.
We answer in English and Italian, usually within a few working days.
You cannot sign in
If you forgot your password, reset it from Sign in › Forgot password: an email arrives with a link that opens the screen where you choose a new one.
If you signed up with Google or Apple, use the same button to sign back in. When the email address is the same, both routes lead to the same account and the same collection.
If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder and then write to us — we can check whether it actually left.
Plus subscription
Plus is bought inside the app and the store manages it, not us: renewal, payment method and cancellation all live there.
On iPhone: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal and leaves Plus active until the end of the period you already paid for.
If you paid and Plus is not active, open the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore purchases. If that does not do it, write to us with the purchase date and which store took the payment.
Refunds are the store’s decision: Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through the Play Store. We cannot issue them on their behalf.
Account, data and deletion
You can delete your account whenever you like: in the app from Profile › Delete account, on the website from the Account page. It is immediate and permanent — collection, wanted list and sessions go with the account.
Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription: that lives in the store and has to be stopped there, ideally first.
With Plus you can export your collection as CSV or PDF from the collection page, so your data stays yours on the way out.
Something wrong in the catalogue
A missing game, the wrong box art, a price that makes no sense: report it with the link to the page. The catalogue is large and some of the data comes from outside sources, so a report is the fastest way to get it corrected.
Prices are an indicative market value, shown with the date they were taken — a guide to what a copy is worth, not an official quotation.
This covers the iOS app, the Android app and the website: one account, one support address.
