Terms of service

RetroLoot is a retro game price guide and a tracker for your collection, operated by RetroLoot. The free tier includes the whole catalogue and every quote.

Quotes come from PriceCharting and are worked out from sales that actually closed. They remain statistical estimates: what your copy is worth depends on its condition, its region, the market that day and who you are dealing with.

They are not financial advice and not an insurance valuation, and we do not guarantee that a game will sell or can be bought at that figure. Buying and selling decisions stay yours.

You need an account to catalogue. You are responsible for your credentials and for what happens through your account; if you suspect unauthorised access, change the password and tell us.

You can delete your account whenever you like, and the collection and wanted list go with it.

Plus is an auto-renewing subscription. The price and the period are shown to you by the store before you confirm, in your country’s currency, and those are the ones that apply.

The store charges the renewal within twenty-four hours before the period ends, unless cancelled. Cancel under Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on iOS, or the Play Store › Subscriptions on Android: managing the subscription is in your hands, not ours.

After cancelling, Plus stays active until the end of the period already paid for. Going back to the free plan re-applies the caps: you will not be able to add beyond them, but nothing you have already catalogued is deleted.

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its own policy; we cannot issue them. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Do not scrape the catalogue in bulk, do not resell it, do not try to work around the free-tier limits, and do not use the service for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does.

Your collection data stays yours and you can export it. The software, the name and the way the catalogue is organised are ours.

The price data belongs to PriceCharting, whom we credit. Covers come from third-party archives and belong to their respective owners; if you own an image and want it removed, an email is enough.

We run the service carefully, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any quote is exact. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence and the mandatory protections of your country still stand.

We may update these terms. If a change is substantial we will tell you by email with reasonable notice; carrying on using the service afterwards means accepting it.
